(Once accepted, feel free to remove your personal info from your user info page) IC Name: William "Billy" Nathan Jones Age/DOB: 17/ November 17th Gender: Male Sexuality: Homosexual Physical Description: Billy is tall and gorgeous. He's nearing six feet tall and has a beautiful face and haunting blue eyes. Billy is very pale and incredibly thin. While he's wiry, he's by no means weak. While not a musclehead, Billy could take care of himself.  Personality: He's very quiet and keeps to himself. Billy isn't usually the sort to start a conversation, but if one is started with him, he'll join in. He tends to observe and watch from afar. He's often told that he hides himself and keeps too much in because he's cautious with his feelings. The only thing Billy is good at is writing. He works his ass off to get A's and B's in other classes, but English is his forte. History (Please write at least four/five paragraphs here. You're starting this character from scratch this is the place to flesh him/her out): William Nathan Jones is the youngest child of Sydney and Michael Jones. He's got an older brother and sister, Michael Jr and Francine, who are 10 and 12 years older than him respectively. So though Billy was the youngest, at times it was more like he was the only child. His siblings had a comradery that he didn't share and was mildly jealous of. Unlike the typical youngest child, Billy wasn't very spoiled. His parents were middle-class, not too well off, but well off enough that he didn't really suffer poverty. His siblings went on to do the same exact things his parents did. His mother and brother were both bankers and his father and sister both worked for the government. When Billy came out to them it was that much harder. His family had always believed in the man and woman were meant for marriage and that two people of the same sex were "unnatural" so Billy held off telling them as long as possible. He was a quiet kid and didn't get into too much trouble. From a young age he knew that he was gay. He'd thought about boys the way his guy friends talked about girls. Billy'd always hung out with girls just a little bit more than boys which had his parents thinking from a young age that he was a ladies' man. Billy didn't tell them any differently because he'd heard his parents talk about the social climate and knew their opinions about homosexuality and had already worked hard to please them. He wasn't a math whiz like Michael or valedictorian like Francine. He pulled mostly A's and B's, with a lot of hard work. The only thing he didn't need to work at was writing and reading. Unfortunately his parents didn't see that as a talent and were always asking him why he couldn't be more like Mike or Francie. Billy just looked down and didn't answer. Billy was well-liked by most of his teachers, even though he wasn't top of the class in anything but English. He always tried hard, kept to himself, and answered questions when asked, though he wasn't the first to put his hand up. Billy had several people he would call acquaintances over friends, but only really had 2 or 3 legitimate friends. One was John. His best friend since he was 5 and crush since he was 9. John didn't know that Billy was gay. Billy's other best friend was Laura. Laura was Billy's oldest friend and confidante. Her oldest sister was friends with Michael, and she and Billy had been friends since they were babies. Laura knew that Billy liked boys and had constantly tried to set him up with people, or convince him to tell his parents. Laura's parents didn't have a problem with it. But Billy resisted all of her attempts. The only boy he was interested in was John and John was blissfully unaware of Billy's crush, having girlfriend after girlfriend. One day a boy, a very pretty blonde boy named Sam, had come up to Billy at school. This boy befriended Billy. If he didn't know any better, he'd have thought that Laura set it up. Laura, however, was more than thrilled by the arrival of this boy. Sam was undeniably gay and undeniably attracted to Billy. Billy didn't do anything to actively spurn Sam's advances and one day, Sam kissed Billy. They were in the hallway after the bell had rung, Billy was searching for his book, and Sam just kissed him. It wasn't anything he'd expected to happen. Though Laura had been telling him for weeks that Sam liked him, Billy ignored her, as he typically did. That kiss bloomed into Billy's first relationship. They didn't do the hand holding PDA that most couples his age did, but they did hold hands, kiss, and come pretty close to having sex often. John and Billy stayed close, but John never knew about Billy's sexuality. Billy's parents were unaware of their son's extracurricular activities until one day when Billy was unknowingly called down to the principal's office with Laura. Billy and Laura walked in to see his parents, and Laura's parents sitting down. When he and Laura came into the room, the principal asked them if there was anything they wished to share. The two of them were confused. The principal then alerted them that Sam had been expelled for improper sexuality. As Laura and Billy were Sam's closest friends in the school, the principal had to investigate their actions. Laura was quickly removed from the room by her parents before giving a worried glance to Billy. Billy was told that he was being suspended upon further investigation due to reports of him and Sam in compromising positions. Billy's parents took him home and questioned him. He didn't say a word either way. He knew he was gay but didn't see the point in telling his parents. They made assumptions and decided that Billy was "hoodwinked" into this, and wasn't really gay. Despite this, they chose to send him to a pride academy, due to the new rigors the government was putting on them. So thus, Billy ended up at GF. Student/Faculty (please list position eg. Laura was texting him, threatening to make an appearance at his house, which his parents would not be happy with. After climbing out his back window, Billy met Laura in the forest between their houses. Laura's eyes were puffy and her hair was frazzled. Billy wasn't going to say anything about it. He just went up to his friend and gave her a hug. This prompted a whole new wave of tears from Laura. "Billy, don't go," she cried, muffled into her friend's shoulder. "Laura," he looked at her. "Do you really think there's a way around it? Sam's God knows where. My parents would rather ship me off believing I was taken in by him than that I actually like boys. What's the point of staying here?" Laura pouted. "Are you serious? There's me. And Sam's bound to be around somewhere." She paused for a second, debating if she wanted to go there and then added quietly, "John's here." Billy's heart plummeted. He had tried to forget about the fact that all three people he talked to on a regular basis would not be with him. He'd especially tried to forget that John wouldn't be there. He'd never admit to even Laura that he loved John more than he'd say. That he secretly imagined that Sam was John sometimes. It wasn't fair to any of them. Least of all Sam, which was probably why Billy wasn't so upset that Samwas gone. Sam was little more than a figment of his imagination. Billy hated himself for the way that he'd used Sam, especially since Sam hadn't known. But he couldn't help it. So embarassed of himself, he'd not even admited it to Laura, though he thought she'd known on a subconcious level at least. "Laura," he said, quieter than before in a broken sort of voice. "Please don't make this harder than it is." "Billy, damnit, I do not want my best friend to leave. Not when I hear about the things that are supposed to happen now at these academies. The things your dad was saying earlier in the summer? Billy, you don't need pills!" Billy shook his head at his friend. "Laura, I need to go. I might need this more than my parents think I do. For me." "Billy!" "Laura, I'm gay." That was only the third time he'd uttered the sentence. The third time, but to the same person each time. "I know, but-" Billy just looked at his friend. "Then why doesn't anyone else? Why do I work my ass off, and never talk back, never stand up for myself?" Billy continued, quietly. "You could, now," Laura stressed. He simply shook his head and hugged his friend. "What am I going to do then," she cried into his shoulder. "Without you?" "I'll write and call," he offered. She glared at him. "It's not the same and you know it. I don't know what I'll do without you." "You'll be fantastic, Laur." Laura rolled her eyes at her friend and hugged him again.
